Class 1 with Mrs Levick and Mrs Pulleyn

We would like to say a huge welcome to our new starters in Class 1.

We are looking forward to the year ahead together.

Class 1's Blog

The last two Fridays have seen the children of Early Years take part in Bikeability sessions. The sessions started with the children learning to balance themselves on objects in the hall leading on to them racing around the playground on balance bikes and pedal bikes. The children were fantastic, very well behaved and enjoyed the whole experience.

A big thank you to Bikeability for the training and to our very own FONS who paid for the whole thing.

We have been learning about Space and Aliens this term.
We really enjoyed having Bip the Alien from Mars with us after his rocket crashed in our playground. He enjoyed his time at Netherton but is safely back home with his mum and dad now. We are busy practising our cursive letters and trying to use them in our writing. We are learning how to add 2 numbers together and making addition sums.

We filled up our treasure pot by showing good behaviour, being kind and working hard.

For our treat we made a chocolate Dinosaur cake. It was very tasty!

Autumn Term 2

We have been learning all about our Skeletons and have enjoyed reading the Funnybones stories. We made some super skeleton pictures.

We are learning all about dinosaurs and have painted some fabulous pictures which we are proud to display in our class.
We are busy making a giant papier mache dinosaur. This will take us a while but look out for the finished design!
